Hi, I was using Audacity, then looked at Kristol Audio Engine two be able to input 2 USB Mic inputs without needing an audio processor between me and that device.
Audacity doesn't have that functionality period. Kristol Audio engine does, but it is so terrible and malware filled that it makes me wish Audacity (which itself is horrible) would have that functionality.
I can't find a single scrap of information anywhere on how to do this, and have been looking for nearly an hour on Youtube and this forum. My goal is (since I have a podcast and have to interview people) is to setup a mobile station that I can easily transport without having to carry around an additional interface. I have a Alesis io|26, but this laptop I'm using doesn't have a Firewire connection so that's a moot point.
Really hoping that Audition can do this, doesn't make sense to me that Kristol Audio Engine would have it and Audition wouldn't.
Am I missing something or does Audition really not have the ability to do something so seemingly basic and rudimentary?
