No, you did not get my idea. 1080p resolution cannot work with 200% DPI scaling in Windows, because you cannot even display a complete dialog box in these settings. So for devices like Surface Pro and Dell Venue 11, the DPI scaling is 150%, for 13 to 14 or even 15 inches notebooks with 1080p display, the preferred DPI scaling is 125%. Even for devices like Surface Pro3, which has 1440p display, the default DPI is 150%. So I recommended if they cannot work around the problem of Windows UI scaling APIs, they can design a specific UI for small size screen devices with 1080p display.
